The destructive power of Ironbreaker did not disappoint Yang Yi.

With one horizontal slash, severed limbs flew through the air.

Although it looked rough, like a semi-finished product, anyone who had used it would understand... It was the true meaning of cutting through iron like butter!

The large, leading worm was decapitated by Yang Yi in a single slash, creating a gust of strong wind in the process.

The smaller worms caught in the aftermath were shattered, their severed edges violently ripped apart.

After this single strike, the attacks from the dozen or so worms were completely neutralised, leaving only a pile of wriggling severed limbs on the ground.

However, the force and weight of his powerful attack left Yang Yi stumbling unsteadily.

There was no way around it — the weapon was too heavy. A moment of carelessness could easily pull him off balance.

"It seems I'll need to increase my weight to use this greatsword more flexibly," Yang Yi said, steadying himself with the sword.

If not for the additional coordination granted by the Third Eye upgrade, his muscles might have been torn apart by that one strike.

After a brief rest, Yang Yi dragged the sword and continued forwards.

Time was limited, and he had to act quickly to sever more of the worms' limbs!

New tendrils attacked sporadically, but Yang Yi cut them down one by one. Before long, the deck was littered with worm parts.

Standing near the edge of the bow, Yang Yi looked down.

The number of icebergs had increased, rising from five at the beginning to more than ten.

Moreover, more icebergs were moving towards the area, seemingly drawn by the massive bobbit worm heads, their numbers growing steadily until they threatened to bore a giant hole in the Nightmare Star!

Yang Yi glanced at the ship's durability — it had already dropped by nearly 2,000!

At that moment, Suna approached, holding a makeshift torch, her footsteps audible on the deck.

Noticing her, Yang Yi turned back and said, "I'll go down to cut them later. But you must also stay safe. These worms won't just target me.

And be careful not to set the ship on fire; the deck is covered in worm fluid!"

With that, Yang Yi pinpointed his position, selected a large iceberg, and hurled the Ironbreaker downwards.

Clang!

It embedded itself halfway into the iceberg, causing it to wobble and send ice shards flying.

Yang Yi remained calm. He knew he couldn't jump down with the greatsword; otherwise, his leg bones would likely snap into several pieces.

Instead, he devised a different strategy: wait for one of the larger worms to lunge at him.

The moment arrived.

Yang Yi bent his knees and jumped, evading a worm's bite and landing on its body.

The sensation was akin to stepping on soft, fatty flesh, and his feet even sank slightly into it.

Relying on the exceptional balance provided by Third Eye, Yang Yi ran along the half-metre-thick worm.

Despite constant interference from other worms, Yang Yi deftly avoided their attacks with agile leaps and turns, surpassing even the dexterity of a gymnast! ᚱäℕоВĘS

Finally, he leaped onto the iceberg where the Ironbreaker was embedded.

"Come on! Let me give you all a haircut!" Yang Yi exclaimed with a grin, gripping Ironbreaker with both hands and pulling with all his might.

The sword vibrated, and a large chunk of the iceberg, which had been tightly gripping Ironbreaker, cracked apart, revealing a peculiar sphere inside.

The sphere was covered with a thin yellow membrane, containing worms of varying sizes intertwined like a ball of yarn.

It seemed to be the true body of the creature, its core probably hidden deep within.

Yang Yi didn't waste time killing it. His focus was solely on escaping.

At that moment, nothing else mattered more than breaking free.

Killing it would take too much time. Who knew how deep the core was? He might have even needed to chip away at the ice.

But severing the tentacles? That was way faster!

Standing on the iceberg, Yang Yi saw dozens of tentacles emerging from below, reaching up as if to welcome him.

In just 10 seconds, Yang Yi severed them all.

Holding the massive sword with both hands, he ran and slashed along the ice island, cutting off all the tentacles reaching up from below. It was as smooth as giving the iceberg a buzz cut.

After finishing, he flung Ironbreaker, embedding it into a nearby iceberg, and ran towards it.

During this time, he had to dodge the tentacles' attacks, sometimes even swimming through the water.

But thanks to the predictive ability granted by Third Eye, he avoided the onslaught, though it was perilous. On several occasions, he was nearly bitten.

Reaching the new position, Yang Yi retrieved the greatsword and repeated the process, shaving the tentacles off the iceberg.

His efficiency was remarkable. In just three minutes, he had dealt with seven icebergs, severing all the tentacles emerging from them.

Yet, dancing on the edge of a blade wasn't without consequences.

At one point, while dodging, Yang Yi was bitten on the back by a worm as thick as his thigh.

There was no comparison to the half-worm that had once latched onto his rear.

Yang Yi's armour was directly bitten through, tearing away a layer of his flesh in the process.

Had he not instinctively turned around and struck the creature with his sword, the worm might have completely latched onto him and dragged him into the icy sea.

Additionally, wading through water caused severe hypothermia, especially as his feet and head were unprotected, leaving him numb from the cold.

After all, in such freezing conditions, once the body got wet, the cold wind would rapidly sap warmth, potentially causing frost to form...

However, Yang Yi didn't have time to worry about any of that. He relied on the thick wool sweater he wore under his wetsuit to maintain his core temperature.

It certainly lived up to his expectations, providing exceptional warmth!

Five minutes later. The worms extending from the icebergs beneath the Nightmare Star were almost entirely dealt with.

Only one iceberg remained in the farthest area, with tentacles stretching up to ten metres long, gripping the ship's hull tightly.

Once that iceberg was dealt with, the Nightmare Star would have a chance to break free.

Yang Yi immediately contacted Suna.

"Suna, I'm almost done here — just two more minutes!

In two minutes, try starting the ship and breaking free from these icebergs!" Yang Yi shouted.

Meanwhile, on the bow deck.

When Yang Yi had dashed down using the worm as a stepping stone, Suna had been so shocked her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

Thankfully, despite the risk, he managed to land safely and began severing the worms that were clinging to the Nightmare Star.

Suna, on the other hand, tried to operate the ship but found it completely immobilised, unable even to control the bobbit worm's head.

Before long, she was surrounded by worms writhing on the deck.

However, they only surrounded her and didn’t dare come closer — their tentacles trembled as if they feared the flames.

Suna had made the right call: the worms recognised fire and feared it, instinctively avoiding objects that radiated high heat.

But that didn’t mean they were completely powerless against the flames.

Before long, one worm retreated and then returned, its body swollen and seemingly holding something inside.

Suna immediately realised what it was trying to do.

It planned to spew cold seawater to extinguish the makeshift torch in her hand.

She dodged quickly, yet not fast enough, and seawater splashed all over her, extinguishing the torch instantly.

The torch, made hastily from worm fluids, was far too fragile!

Without the fire, Suna was immediately thrown into a dangerous situation.

Unlike Yang Yi, she didn’t have superhuman reflexes or coordination.

All she could do was instinctively retreat, shielding herself with a small round shield while reaching for the longsword at her waist.

She also prepared herself to use magic if necessary.

Fortunately, the crisis ended as soon as it began, because down below, Yang Yi was working with terrifying efficiency.

The worms chasing her barely had time to squirm before they were cut off, collapsing limply on the deck, their movements reduced to aimless writhing.

Suna, drenched in seawater, couldn’t hold back a sneeze.
