“Poetry is beautiful, don’t you think?” Ryu smiled, looking at Taedra. She sank into his arms beneath the moonlight, feeling a little bit dazed.
She had heard of this Ryu Tatsuya before, a genius from the pinnacle plane, a man who could have everything and anything he wanted.
When he appeared here, he hadn’t done so as Ryu at all. He had come as a humble farmboy, living a life completely separate from himself.
She remembered falling in love with him, and just how much her father disapproved. She was the little princess of the Loom Clan, and he… well, he wasn’t much at all.
Honestly, she couldn’t remember Ryu ever having much of a temper, but that day, he razed the city to the ground just to prove a point.
She had always felt that while he was very gentle and reassuring with her, he carried an arrogance with him that was impossible to disguise. But she never expected that his arrogance was so great.
When she learned that he was actually Ryu Tatsuya, she had no idea how to feel. The things he taught her about poetry had allowed her cultivation to improve by leaps and bounds, and it seemed to only make logical sense that he would come from such a great background…
But why her? Why this little insignificant princess?
When she asked Ryu that question, he smiled and said…
“Because I can.”
It was a simple three-letter phrase that should have made her feel terrible, almost as though she was a conquest, a flower he picked up by the side of the road.
But she knew Ryu now, she could feel him. She knew that wasn’t what he meant.
These were the words of a man who believed he was above everyone else. There were a sea of women in Sacrum, across Existence, even. But he had come here to be a little shepherd boy for her.
The weight of that was something she could only feel so distinctly precisely because he was so arrogant.
She leaned into him, softly closing her eyes.
“I don’t know how much attention you will give me, or if you will ignore our children in the future… but I know I’ll never be able to choose another man…”
Taedra felt something pick up her chin.
“Ignore my seed?” Ryu’s eyes flashed with hints of dominance, the skies crackling above. “Never.”
Taedra shuddered and a spring of warmth flowed through her. After reaching Dao God in this life, she had still chosen the appearance of a more mature woman, and yet it only seemed to make her more enticing.
A beauty with a delicate touch that only the grace of Heaven could bring. It was the virtue and luck of a woman that had reached Dao God through a path all their own. And this one was even more perfect than the last.
“Please take me, Ryu…”
Ryu smiled and kissed her lips softly.

“Were you under the impression that I would just let you do whatever you wanted?” Ryu spoke to a sea of Martial Gods. “You’re quite lucky that I’m still refining some things, otherwise, I would go and wipe you out at the source right here and now.”
Ryu waved a hand and half the Martial Gods died on the spot.
Of course they did. They had practically mutilated their foundations and strengths so that they could fit into Sacrum, while Ryu himself had been building his foundations based on the peak estimations of the world from the very start.
He had been the strongest existence on Sacrum for more years than he cared to count already, let alone now.
“Hurry up and scram. I have a date to get to.”
Ryu turned his head, and his gaze peered through the layers of the Planes until it landed on a certain duo. Seeing Granny Miriam and Melody fighting side by side on their cultivation journey, he found a smile creeping up on his face.
Well, Granny Miriam wasn’t much of a Granny now, anymore. Instead, she was quite young and spry, a beauty just like her little sister.
But this wasn’t his date at all. He couldn’t see Granny Miriam like that at all, there was a reason he still called her by that name.
Instead, his date was right here.
He grabbed out a firecracker of a woman who was pulled out from the crowd of Martial Gods.
“What are you struggling so much for?” Ryu looked down at Isemeine. She was hardly in the Immortal Ring Realm at this point, but given the years it took her to cultivate to that point under the effects of Sacrum, she had long since matured.
“Let me go. Do you have any idea how dignified the Martial Gods are? Who do you think you are to—?!”
Ryu tapped at the air and ripples of space and time warped around them.
“Tell you what,” Ryu said after the world was blocked out from them. “I can give you one chance. If you can resist my touch for an hour, I’ll let you go and even let your little Martial God Clan have some fun in my territory. If you can’t, you become my wife. How about it?”
Isemeine was taken aback. “… What is wrong with you? This is war, not a game. I knew your Race of people was inferior, but I didn’t think you’d be such apes—.”
Ryu lightly grabbed Isemeine’s waist, Embryonic Qi sinking into the softness of her flesh.
She froze and then her body almost immediately became flush.
“You…”
Ryu’s lips covered hers.
Isemeine forgot about everything else. At some point, she tugged on Ryu’s robes herself, trying to get him out of them faster.
“Just fuck me already! What are you doing?!”
Ryu’s laughter filled the skies.
The path that Isemeine and Eska had taken, he passed it on to Miriam and Melody instead. With their Karma-linked Bone Structure, they could take it in an interesting direction.
But for Eska and Isemeine… their relationship was one of necessity in the first place. Although they grew to accept it, Ryu wanted them to be their own women.
Now, he just had to go back in time and ensure the Zu Clan survived to this day. After all, he missed his arrogant wife and her ample chest.
