''Blood Bat.''
He once more used the blood bat, this time ordering it to rise as he started to scan the area.
He was able to move the blood bat approximately 25 meters away from himself. He was confident that from this height, he could explore more areas.
'Although I won't be able to see the enemy or the region boss directly, I will be able to find the signs they left behind. ' Raydon pondered as he scanned the area. His goal was to observe the skill effects or dust created by the enemy team while fighting mobs.
And it happened exactly as he had predicted. He could make out skill-like effects in the distance, along with dust clouds rising into the air. If there were no mobs capable of using skills other than the region boss, the opposing team was the reason for this.
After finding the enemy team, Raydon did not immediately leave the hill but instead kept looking around. He also wanted to find the Region Boss if possible. But he was unlucky, and the blood bat's duration ended before he could find it.
'I suppose I should try again from a different location. In any case, it appears that I have located the enemy team. ' Raydon sighed as he thought. He was determined to get the most out of this match.
He began to descend the hill, and he took much less time doing so. He then used the item he looted from Helen for the first time after landing on the ground.
''Faster. ''
[Knee Pads]
-Grade: Green
-Quality: Good
-Skill: Faster
Increases movement speed by 5% immediately and continues to increase as the user keeps running. The stamina stat determines speed increase and skill duration.
-Mana cost: 5
-Duration: 10 minutes.
-Cooldown: 40 minutes.
Raydon didn't want to take too long getting to the enemy. He then started running after activating the skill. Raydon's agility was at the lowest possible level, but thanks to his running technique, his speed was still quite fast. Of course, he was much slower than an agility build item holder.
Raydon kept running, and the skill's effect caused him to run faster. In less than 30 minutes, he had already arrived at the location where the opposing team was visible.
''All I have to do now is find them by following their tracks.'' Thanks to the knowledge he had gained from using the hunter class in his previous life, Raydon could quickly identify the tracks left behind by the enemy team.
'Looks like this is where they got into the fight. ' Raydon made an immediate deduction after observing the tracks on the ground, and he then started to advance by once more following the tracks.
After making some progress, he eventually located the enemy team. But he wasn't expecting what he saw.
Raydon chuckled in confusion, "Is today my lucky day?"
A group of five people was battling a huge, overgrown spider a little distance from where he was hiding. But that wasn't what caught Raydon off guard and led him to believe he was lucky.
Raydon concentrated and paid close attention to the foe who was hiding at the very back of the formation the team had adopted when fighting the spider.
This individual had light blue skin and long blue hair. However, as opposed to being smooth like a normal person, his skin appeared scaly. He also had gills on either side of his neck that kept opening and closing.
Instead of attacking the spider, this person constantly sprayed water on himself and his teammates while they were battling the spider.
Raydon climbed onto the rock he was hiding behind, sat cross-legged to watch more comfortably, and said. ''It's amusing just to watch this. ''
—
''Hey, my scales are about to dry, water me quickly.'' One of the fish men yelled, attempting to avoid the web the spider had thrown out of its mouth.
''Irrigation. ''
The fish man, who was standing behind the team, shook the fan he was holding and immediately poured water on his teammates.
''Bleh… Blergh… Blearhghh…I got soil in my gills. Fuck the soil becoming mud when it is mixed with water... Hold on while I clean my gills. '' Another fish man yelled while attempting to use his hand to clean his neck while retreating.
''Hey, we don't have time for this. We were covered in mud as well. Come on, let's finish this quickly. ''After saying it, the other fish man, whose head resembles a crab, lunged at the spider with his trident.
''Damn, I really don't like places like this that are so dry. Five matches ago was the last time I came across a sea region. ''
''There is nothing to do because every region has different kinds of difficulties. Stop whining and let's get this done. In any case, we are not far behind in terms of points. It appears that the opposing team is having similar difficulties as us. ''
Looking at the 2-point difference, the fan-holding fish man said. The difference would be reduced to just one if they killed this spider.
They were not used to soil or arid environments because they were fishmen themselves. So, what was the source of the enemy team's difficulties? Why did they also have so few points?
''The other team receives no points for nearly 30 minutes. There's something fishy here. ''
''Huh? ''
''Huh? ''
''Huh? ''
''Huh? ''
Hearing the remarks of his friends, the other team members were unable to comprehend what he meant.
"I mean, it seems suspicious, isn't it? Could they have died? It could also be something else. ''
''I'm not sure, but I hope they died. By the way, the cooldown for my stun skill has ended, so prepare to attack. ''
''Impact. ''
With a yell, the fish man threw his trident at the spider.
''I got this. '' Another fish man yelled as he jumped on the spider with clawed gloves after seeing that the trident had struck the spider and stunned it with its blow.
"Die, you crab head. "
''Hey!!! '' When he heard this, the fish man who had just thrown the trident and stunned the spider cried out furiously, but he quickly forgot his rage when he saw what happened next.
