Raydon displayed the items in his arms and asked the blonde girl. '' Hey, all this will come with me when the match is over, right? ''
Leas responded with a shaking voice after understanding what Raydon meant. ''O-Oh... y-yes it will… No, no I mean you need to wear the item and start the bounding process or put them in your storage if you want them to return with you when the match is over. ''
When Raydon heard what she had said, a gloomy expression spread across his face. ''Damn, but my storage is full, and I obviously can't bind them all, right?''
Leas became alarmed when she saw Raydon's dissatisfaction. ''I-I'm sorry, you can only bind 5 skill items. Other items without skills do not need to be bound, so you can simply wear them. ''
''Your storage is full? What do you mean? '' Gary was surprised to hear Raydon and asked.
Raydon made the decision to ask for help and went and took the bodies of the crocodile, wolf, and moles from behind a nearby rock. He also opened his storage to reveal the wolf inside. ''You see? How can I store all of these? ''
Gary grinned when he understood Raydon's issue. He wasn't surprised to see so many mobs and offered Raydon his assistance right away. ''You don't actually need the whole body of the mob. Although you could probably get a little more money if you had the entire body, since you can't carry it all with you, you can also dismantle them and get the valuable parts.''
He pulled out a small knife from his storage, showed it, and continued. ''I can dismantle the bodies for you if you want. ''
Raydon, who had no idea which parts of the mobs he had killed were valuable, accepted the offer right away. ''Thank you, you can have one of the moles as a thank you for your help. ''
Gary's eye twitched as he looked at the two wolves, the massive crocodile, and the eight moles that seemed insignificant next to them. ''No need for any payment. I'm also doing it to repay you. ''
''Okay. '' Raydon thanked him once more, but it was clear he didn't really care. He wanted Gary to do his best, so he was ready to sacrifice a mole from his priceless loot. He also wanted to observe him in order to learn the specifics of the procedure.
''I-If you don't mind, may I know your name? '' Leas sneaked up to Raydon like a little kitten and inquired with bright eyes.
''Raydon. '' He answered without taking his eyes off Gary's work.
Meanwhile, Seraher asked another question. ''Raydon? What is your surname? You obviously don't belong to the slums; which family are you from? ''
Seraher was sure that Raydon wasn't just someone from the slums. He couldn't have been this skilled and experienced without any training. But Raydon's lack of understanding of the world they were living in as item holders continued to plague her mind.
Raydon turned to face the questioner this time. He was looking at something with consideration.
''Demugen? '' He said it not quite sure.
pαпdα Йᴏνê|,сòМ His last name was clearly written in the system, and he knew from his memories that he had this surname, but he was removed from the family because they thought he was useless and an embarrassment to them because of his illness. So, he pondered whether or not to use this last name.
''I knew you weren't ordinary. '' Seraher sighed as she said.
Raydon already understood that his family was not ordinary, but that didn't really mean much to him. He would only use this surname as his identity in this world. Fortunately, the concept of family meant nothing to him.
Seraher stopped asking questions when she noticed Raydon return his attention to Gary. It was obvious that the other person was uninterested in her inquiries.
Gary soon finished his task and spoke with Raydon while demonstrating the items. ''Sadly, the other's skin was so damaged that it was rendered useless, so you got only one plant-type wolf skin. ''
Gary studied Raydon and, seeing his nod, continued. ''The other bodies were in good shape, so the quality of all of them was also high. There are also 11 F-Rank life cores in total here. These will pay well. ''
Raydon looked at the shiny stones, which were 8 brown, 2 green, and 1 blue, smaller than the palm of his hand.
These things were not unfamiliar to him. It was, in fact, one of the first things he was taught, even if he didn't understand it at the time. These were the cores that gave the mobs their abilities. It was the most widely used material for general crafting.
Raydon gathered everything and placed it in his dimensional storage with the other items he had gathered, gratefully thanking Gary. He was terrified of having to abandon his loot. But now all his problems are solved.
Raydon said after glancing at the system and the remaining time. ''I have to go and get what the other wingman dropped. See you later. '' Turned and started to walk.
"Wait, perhaps going together would be best. On the way, we might run into more mobs or even the last wingman. Also, that wingman looked hella strong. '' Leas spoke quickly.
Seeing the others nod in agreement, Raydon shrugged. '' Okay for me. ''
—
Less than thirty minutes before the match's conclusion, the group finally located the items dropped by the wingman after a lengthy search.
Raydon was disappointed with what he found. The only things on the ground were the wingman's robe and the stick he killed him with.
He picked the robe off the ground, and just as he was about to examine what features it had, a roar was heard nearby.
''Huh, what was that sound? '' Leas startled like a frightened rabbit and asked.
''Must be the region boss. If I remember correctly, the other wingman had gone to find it. '' Seraher said.
''Region boss? What's that? '' Raydon questioned.
