Chapter 1161: Legendary Leg

Chapter 1161: Legendary Leg

Sylas exhaled a breath, and the world around him reformed again.

Right now, his Charisma was simply off the charts. It felt like the smallest bit of his Will was able to have a ridiculous amount of impact.

All things considered, both Pride and Lust leaned more toward Charisma, while Gluttony was his only Will balance. Then there were his eyes that made his Charisma more potent on top of that. And as though all of that wasn’t enough, his Demonic Will allowed his Charisma to undergo stages of evolution as well, even if Sylas wasn’t exactly sure what they were.

Sylas still wasn’t sure of what his stats were just yet because integration was taking far too long, but what he did know was that in terms of stat Effectiveness, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone in this Sector with better bang for their buck than what he got out of his Charisma.

At this point, it felt like every one Charisma stat point he had was worth at least five of anyone else’s. And that still felt like he was underselling himself. He just didn’t have enough experience to truly understand how broken his Charisma was right now.

But what he knew for sure was that his telekinesis, thanks to these changes, had certainly shot over a million kilograms in capability—and this time it was without his Seeds active.

He could only imagine what would happen if he activated his Lust and Gluttony Seed at once now.

Even so, no ability seemed more shocking now than the synergy between his True Pride Seed and his Unravelling Pupils. No, his Runeweaver Eyes in general.

Destruction just felt so easy. But creation…

The Runes fused into one another once more.

This was a true game-changer.

His Runeweaver Eyes were highly limited by the tier his eyes were at. Because of that, how much he could accomplish with them was bottlenecked by what his eye technique could withstand.

But right now, his True Pride Seed seemed to have taken a great deal of the load off. If Sylas had to guess, right now, his eyes were functioning as though they had already reached Tier Three of his Ocular Technique, maybe even close to Tier Four.

That was all to say that right now, Sylas could exert influence with his Eyes comparable to what he should only be able to do once he reached D-Grade in equivalent skill.

And with such power, the Florineth Planet could actually have its Runes forcefully deconstructed by him and taken control of.

This was on a whole other level than what he was capable of previously.

It had to be remembered that the Runeweaver Profession was mostly designed to be used against stationary formations and such. Only those quite adept at using it were capable of applying it like Sylas could directly to treasures, even picking apart E-Grade Treasures to target their F-Grade Runes specifically.

But right now, Sylas’ Runeweaver Profession had been elevated to the E-Grade after passing the All-Seeing Eye’s Quest, and on top of that, his True Pride Seed had made it more potent.

He leapt right over being able to use his Runeweaver Eyes to target and deconstruct Skills an opponent might launch at him, right to one of the highest levels of mastery the Profession could ever have…

Deconstructing the world.

But Sylas had no idea about any of this. He had no idea where the Profession itself even came from.

What he did know was that his Rune Spark Mastery… felt like it had taken a huge leap forward—the sort of leap that made it feel as though he had stepped into a whole other form of Mastery entirely.

And yet, he also knew that this was the supposed peak.

Finally, the world of Gralith was well and truly settling in. In the world of Rune Mastery… Spark Mastery wasn’t the end; it felt like the beginning.

But in a world where no one ever even reached it… just what did it mean for it to be the beginning? How could Gralith even know that that was the case? And how would Sylas know when it was alright to progress to the next tier? Would he ever have a perfect Rune Mastery foundation?

Was there even such a thing?

Coughing caught Sylas’ attention, and he finally seemed to remember the sort of situation he was in.

In the distance, there was a pit with Cassarae in it, wildly sparking with blue bolts and arcs of lightning. However, this lightning was odd.

From time to time, it would form into a sword, and then at other times, it would shape into flames, and then at yet other times, it would take the form of eyes.

It bounced back and forth between the various forms and shapes, as though not sure of what form to take—or maybe that it wanted to be all of them simultaneously.

Sylas struggled to his feet, and when he realized he was far too tired after everything he had been through, he ended up just using his telekinesis to bring himself forward.

He rushed to the edge of the crater to find Cassarae lying naked within, her body wrapped in a violent cocoon of sparking, radiant blue.

It was a blue very different from the pale, glassy blue Sylas’ lightning had once been like. Instead, it was fierce and violent, radiant like shimmering sapphires polished to an extreme. It was hard even to look at directly, and it felt just so…

Dangerous.

Sylas could vaguely sense that Cassarae was undergoing a shocking evolution. This was the Legendary Leg of her Quest, and it made sense. But also, the rewards she gained were in direct proportion to the challenge she faced.

While it was a great series of coincidences that allowed her to finish the Legendary Leg of this Quest in the first place, the ultimate truth still remained the truth…

She had defeated the All-Seeing Eye to claim this Legendary Class of hers, and the rewards she would receive for that would break the universe.
