Izanami didn’t actually mind Abaddon and Seras taking a little longer than initially estimated.
It was hard to feel lonely with ten other people in the house who you also happened to be married to.
Besides, being with Sif made the waiting feel like fun. Izanami liked Sif.
The two had formed a particularly fast friendship that was unique to themselves. It was a strange bond difficult to put into words.
As the two of them sat and made jokes about Abaddon and Seras’ sparring way into the sunset, eventually the pair locked eyes.
“… Was it a good use of our time to spend all day watching these two idiots fight?”
Izanami shrugged. “It was interesting. I never got the chance to observe them in this sort of element before.”
Sif yawned as she rested her head in her hand. “What’s so interesting about watching two idiots hit each other over and over?”
“Are you saying that as someone who watches human professional wrestling rather religiously?”
“T-This and that are two completely different things!” Sif insisted. “The shiny outfits, the thrilling music, the pageantry!”
Izanami was actually surprised. “Wow… I didn’t think that you would care for such a-“
“And they hit each other with chairs and tables!” *Sigh* “It reminds me of home…”
Sometimes, Izanami forgot that Sif was technically born in Jotunheim. It never really popped up in her mind all that often until she said something ice-giant-like.
“…What exactly was it like for you? Growing up there, I mean.” Izanami suddenly asked.
Sif seemed surprised by the question. She rubbed her chin thoughtfully as she tried to remember her days in the freezing wonderland.
“Well, in this timeline I didn’t actually spend all that much time there. But in the one prior, it was… fine, I guess. I had a family and stuff. But I guess you could say that they weren’t like ours or anything like that. They were the nomadic-brutish types, so…”
Izanami immediately felt bad for asking. “Ah… I’m sorry.”
“No need to be.” Sif chuckled. “It’s not like I really grew up expecting them to be. It was just the way things were, really. I didn’t really know things could be different until I left and met little Exedra.”
Sif looked down at her lap and saw that Izanami was still wearing that unbearably fretful look.
She grabbed her by either side of the face and literally turned her frown upside down.
“I said I’m fine, Little miss. Really. If we’re talking about old family stuff that hasn’t been dealt with, then you should be looking at our husband instead of…” Sif’s words trailed off as she realized that maybe she had said a hair too much.
But by then, it was too late to stop Izanami’s interest from being piqued. “Our husband..?”
Sif blinked slowly a few times as she thought of ways to worm herself out of this conversation.
“…Have I told you how pretty you are today?”
Izanami looked down at herself. “I’m wearing the exact same nothing that I was yesterday.”
“Exactly.”
Sif wrapped Izanami in a tight embrace that warmed the soul like a hug. Whether the death goddess knew what she was doing or not, she didn’t show many signs of objecting.
For a moment, their eyes met again with a much softer light between the two.
It was unknown exactly which of them leaned in first, but Izanami wrapped her head around Sif’s neck and pulled her in close.
As the two of them became locked in their embrace, they were completely unaware that their bodies were beginning to emit a rather startling glow…
–
“THIS IS SO FUN! SO FUN! I WANT TO DO THIS FOREVERRR!!!”
‘Oh, my god. I’ve broken her…’
Abaddon watched Seras weave through his attacks like slow traffic.
After hours of being out here under the guise of exercising, Seras had adjusted well to his new method of fighting and her obsession had been sufficiently stoked.
By this point, Abaddon wondered if his wife even remembered exactly who she was, or if she was too far gone for that kind of thing.
When she caught him, he wondered if he was in for a unique brand of hell that she had only reserved for her enemies.
Unfortunately, Abaddon’s lapse in focus left a minor hole in his defenses.
It was so small that there were almost none alive who could have taken advantage of it, but Seras was of a very special few.
Before Abaddon knew it, she was lunging beyond his barriers and coming towards him like a rocket with her arms outstretched.
“DARLINGGG..!!!”
“Eh?”
Abaddon was nearly full-force tackled out of the sky by Seras.
Rather than attacking him, she seemed ecstatic and giddy like a little girl.
She planted sixty different kisses on his cheek before he could stop them from falling, and even then she was not inclined to get off of him in any way.
“Oh, you big beautiful genius! You’re amazing! That was incredible! Oh, I could kiss you!”
Seras had forgotten that she already had and would continue to.
Abaddon was experiencing a fit of whiplash from this sudden change in demeanor.
“What was that?!” She asked with sparkly eyes. “It was so profound and moving, a-and I’ve just never seen you do anything like that before!”
Abaddon wasn’t necessarily weak to compliments, just those around things that he took pride in.
Faced with Seras’ persistent and heartfelt compliments, Abaddon was a hair shy of useless.
“W-Well, it was just… I-I thought that if I…I-I was just trying to do something different, you know?” Abaddon looked away while pretending this conversation wasn’t making him as hot under the collar as it was.
Meanwhile, Seras’ eyes were only getting more and more fascinated. She wanted to hear her husband’s exact mental state when discovering this new fighting style of his.
But right now, his mind was only focused on the tantalizing amount of sweat covering her body.
Abaddon all of a sudden felt incredibly parched…
While Seras was pelting him with a barrage of questions, the two were so distracted with each other that they didn’t feel themselves getting sleepy.
By the time they had started to fall to their knees, they were vaguely aware that something was amiss.
Alas, they were unable to fight against their sudden lethargy and promptly collapsed on top of each other.
When they awoke, they were neck-deep in warm water.
Abaddon was perfectly aware of everything in the room before he even opened his eyes, but he still didn’t believe or understand it.
When his eyelids snapped open, he found a stranger looming above him, washing his body with a perverted look on her face.
Without thinking, he lashed out and grabbed the woman by the wrist to stop her hand. In response, she grabbed him by the neck and pushed his back against the rim of the tub.
‘…Hot..’
The woman with one hand on his neck and the other on his junk was a stunning figure.
She was short but powerful. Exactly 5’6 of apparent ferocity.
She was muscular, but not overly cut like Seras or Valerie. Only possessing a set of abs that were undeniably well-defined while the rest of her body remained soft and feminine.
Her nude body was covered in an array of familiar tattoos that suited her extremely well. Like Ayaana, they turned her into a beautiful work of art.
She had bushels of long golden blonde hair running from her head to her ankles.
Her eyes were sharp. An orange-gold light shone from her irises and warned Abaddon’s very soul.
Two horns curled out of the top of her head like that of an oni.
Her breasts were large enough to fit in even Abaddon’s hands and overflow. Given how much larger he was than her, such a thing was almost jaw-dropping…
She tightened her grip around Abaddon’s neck and leaned forward.
A long pick tongue slipped past her lips and licked him from the bottom of his jaw to the back of his ear.
Seras, who had been watching this whole scene in wonder, couldn’t find it within herself to look away or kill this strange woman.
Even though she had slapped Nyx numerous times for far less.
After savoring the taste of Abaddon, she did the exact same thing to Seras. Dragging her tongue from between her breasts all the way up to her neck.
Abaddon and Seras had the exact same reaction at once.
“”Sif / Izanami?!””
“Ding-ding-ding!” They smiled. Revealing pearly white, but dangerously sharp teeth.
They did a small, little dance from the excitement and Abaddon was pretty sure that he felt his pupils become heart-shaped. Seras’ too.
The door to the bathroom swung open and Lailah wandered in, equally naked and holding her head.
She laid eyes on the new woman standing in the room and froze for more than a full minute.
She started backing away slowly, while completely unable to take her eyes off the strange woman’s behind.
The only reason the tub wasn’t filled with nasal blood was because Abaddon hadn’t seen it yet.
Lailah’s words came out as a jittery, unfocused stammer. Far different from her usual cool, and sometimes bubbly persona.
“I’m just… gonna… tell the kids that we’re going to be here for a couple more months.”
