Chapter 2629 - 2630: A New Companion

"This is amazing," Michael said. "It truly simplifies the growth of a person and individual greatly, and it even makes it much more varied, with unique ways to grow and evolve your powers… So this is how you also got where we were, your System is truly boundless in what it can do, Frank."

"Ahh, well, I didn't really choose how it would be, it just kind of happened, you know…" Frank said. "Well, it says in here that I get half of your stats and I can use any skill as long as I am wielding you, that's pretty interesting. Does it always have to be in spear form though?"

"We would have to test," she said. "Here, hold my hand."

"Sure…" Frank nodded, as he approached his hand and held Michael's much bigger hand in comparison.

And then, in that moment, he felt his stats skyrocket, increasing more than he imagined.

He also felt like suddenly, a new arsenal of skills had appeared out of nowhere inside of his own soul and status.

"Oh, it seems to work even when we're just holding hands…" Frank said. "Perhaps any physical contact would work?"

He tried a few other things with Michael, coming to some conclusions pretty quickly:

-The physical contact has to be big enough, only touching her with his finger doesn't work.

-Frank calculated that around the length of his entire hand touching her would work, otherwise, it wouldn't give any bonus.

-When she "hugs" him with her aura, it seems to work just fine. She can also touch him instead of him touching her, and it will work too.

-She cannot take other form than a spear when physically manifesting.

-She cannot go past a hundred meters from him in her spiritual form, but as a spear, she can go for many more meters, flying into the skies without problems.

-Whenever she turns into her spiritual form, but her spear was far away, Michael instantly returns to Frank's Celestial Mark.

-He can also make the spear materialize while touching a physical object in front of his hand, making it so the spear can pierce through it. But this depends on the physical object's durability and the spear's piercing power.

-The Angelic Beam Skill is a dual skill that heals allies and damages foes, combining it with Gift of Life seems to make it stronger.

-The Seven Celestial Paths seem to be a special fighting technique that uses all seven archangel souls, but right now he's limited to Michael.

-Whenever the spear's Health reaches zero, she would return to the Celestial Mark and wait until it regenerates completely before being able to be summoned once more.

-While stored in the Celestial Mark, Michael can talk to Frank's mind without problems.

-Michael doesn't receive any bonus from Frank's stats or skills but can receive his Mana to gain more power.

"Alright, I guess… That's all the tests… Ugh, I'm tired."

Frank threw himself over the bed, as Michael, still in her spiritual form, looked at the window in silence.

"Ahh, were you talking about a World Seed before, Michael?"

"Ah, yes, the portal… It isn't gone yet. As I thought."

Michael quickly flew back to the portal in the middle of the room, which led to a pitch-black darkness.

This darkness was a natural phenomenon when a "place" where a world was suddenly emptied itself.

The Realm where she and her siblings were confined collapsed on itself upon their escape, but instead of fully consuming itself and simply disappearing, there was something left behind.

This was what Michael called a "World Seed".

"What are World Seeds anyway?" Frank asked. "I thought worlds were just formed like planets…?"

"No, well, not all of them, this world is indeed a planet," nodded Michael. "But there's other worlds that can be born differently. Some can be born inside of souls of powerful beings, others made through accidents and clashes of powerful energies, distortions on space, dimensions, and more."

"Oh…" Frank nodded. "I wish I could travel to other worlds though… But right now that function suddenly shut down and I can't access it, I wonder why?"

"Hmm, so you can't use the System's main function?" Michael wondered. "Perhaps something happened to your own powers or the system that cut this effect off… Do you miss that other world you visited?"

"A bit… but I didn't really get the time to get attached to it that much," Frank said. "But I remember that there were some real nice people there. A family of fox-eared farmers, Gwendolyn and her daughter, Annabelle. Terra was a really interesting world… I accessed it by using that Farming Game App, but I think that world is just completely different. I'm guessing that Apps don't really teleport you to the game world itself but to an approximation of it, or something similar. It doesn't just create worlds."

"Interesting…" Michael nodded. "Those Skills you have, [Abraddon's Divine Protection: Level -] and [Abraddon's Champion Divine Crest: Level -], are these from beings of that world?"

"Yeah, it belongs to Abraddon, it is… a God I met accidentally in my dreams I think, I healed him from a big wound he had using Gift of Life, and gained his favor immediately," Frank explained. "He's a God of Beasts, and looked like a giant, majestic beastly chimera. From what I heard from him, there seems to be many other Gods governing over Terra. It's a fantasy world unlike Earth, where several tribes, races, are protected by each of these gods. There's heroes, demon kings, and all of that… I wish I could go back! I wanted to go on an adventure eventually…"

"That world of Terra truly sounds intriguing; it's a pity you can't return for now…" Sighed Michael. "But well, there's this World Seed here. Can't you see if there's any world you've visited recently in your system?"

"World?" Frank wondered, sitting down and checking.

[Worlds Visited]: [Earth (Home World)] [Terra (Farm Town App)] [Abandoned Eden (???)]

"Huh? Wait a second, there's one in here…! Abandoned Eden?"
