Chapter 6448: Visitor

“Pretty bad taste in naming.” Li Qiye said.

“I was bored and picked randomly. This spring carries an air of nobility.” The skull said.

“Not your foot odor?” Li Qiye replied.

“Bah, I’m a person of taste, alright? Don’t be so vulgar.” The skull retorted.

Li Qiye then focused on the dream world before him - a boundless land with no end in sight regardless of one’s heavenly gaze.

Within were golden trees. Some grew in the wilds while others grew atop peaks. However, the six largest ones grew on space itself, occupying six massive corners. One could see them in any location while looking up.

Large pits and craters scattered across the land, painting the impression of an ore mine. Both visitors and inhabitants born in the dreams roamed. However, the latter couldn’t leave since they would disperse without the dream’s power.

“It’s crazy, they went all out digging.” Li Qiye remarked.

“Haha, all for the gold underground.” The skull laughed.

“Right, for illusory metals.” Li Qiye said.

“It’s fitting for this place, becoming stronger with more gold. The temptation is irresistible.” The skull said: “You know, those two little immortals are rather capable. They planted the souls here and built such a real world.”

“It’s because the souls are different.” Li Qiye said.

“And you have the original.” The skull glanced at him.

He only smiled in response.

“How do you want to find them?” The skull asked, having a good view of both Gold Village and Paramount.

After all, the dreams took place on his original land and relied on its power as fuel. Otherwise, the three souls alone were not enough to keep the dreams going.

“One at a time.” Li Qiye said.

“Why not just drain the dreams so that you can see the springs and the souls? Simple and effective.” The skull suggested: “And then refine all three souls and return them to the body. That’s not hard for you.”

“I don’t want an idiot, draining the dreams will destroy all the memories in the souls too.” Li Qiye said.

“But those aren’t his memories, just the ones from the previous life embedded by those two.” The skull disagreed.

“Maybe I should just let him stay here and preserve them then.” Li Qiye said.

“Hah, looks like you two were quite close. What was your relationship?” The skull asked.

“So nosy.” Li Qiye said.

The skull was smart enough to stop pursuing the matter.

As the two crossed through a large mountain, someone noticed them and waved: “Visitor!”

He landed before the two and said: “Visitor, please be careful since it is not safe here right now.”

He wore a green robe and hid his aura. However, he was clearly a mighty primal ancestor. Primal anima strands still oozed from him.

He looked around twenty, not particularly handsome but gave off a solid presence like that of a statue. He also exuded an air of antiquity as if he had stepped out from the river of time.

He had a third eye between his brows. It was close but still occasionally emitted a bronze glow.

“That only makes it more fun. How is it unsafe now?” The skull said.

The youth saw the talking skull and opened his third eye.

“Pop!” A gigantic eye appeared behind him, catching the flow of laws and dao. It seemed to have been gestated in an immortal realm for eras before falling to the mortal world.

“Azure Bronze Eye. Who granted it to you?” Li Qiye frowned.

“Haha, must be that brat.” The skull laughed: “He’s the only one in Three Immortals who could have done it when not counting us.”

The youth staggered backward upon hearing this with a startled expression. His eye spotted nothing from Li Qiye despite being used to the limit.

This was inconceivable since the eye could break all illusions and see the truth.

“I apologize for not realizing I was in the presence of masters.” He closed his third eye and bowed: “I was given the title of Bronze by my peers. May I ask for your name?”

Most would be shocked to hear this because only one famous cultivator present had this title in Old World - Bronze Ancestor.

He was one of the four primal ancestors in Seventy-two Skyraiser Sect, a supreme genius.

“You may call me young noble.” Li Qiye said.

Bronze Ancestor knew the other primal ancestors in Old World but this man was different.

“Your ancestor would address me as young noble as well, let alone you.” Li Qiye waved dismissively.

“May I ask how you know my ancestor?” Bronze was frightened.

“It’s been too long, but your ancestor’s golden eye pales compared to your bronze one.” Li Qiye said.
