“Hiding here out of all places?” Someone spoke to him, causing him to jolt in astonishment.
He looked back and saw Li Qiye.
“You nearly scared me to death, Young Noble, I thought it was a ghost.” He patted his chest and said.
“You, scared?” Li Qiye said.
“Haha, others can’t scare me to death but you can.” The man took out a jade bench for Li Qiye to sit down.
“Young Noble, you came just in time, we’ll be feasting on dragon liver and roasted dragon spine.” He was none other than Black Witch Monarch.
“Did you go help collect Jiang Ba’s corpse or here to sneak some meals?” Li Qiye sat down and asked.
“Haha, I visited to see if I can help out but Desolate Ancestor’s descendants are rather capable, they didn’t need my help. Since I was already here, I thought I hadn’t eaten anything good in a long time so I spent a few days here. The dragon finally came out so it was the perfect time to have some liver.” The man laughed and said.
The monsters listening in the shadows became afraid. They were feared by all yet were treated as meals by this man.
As he roared the liver, he salivated and said: “Young Noble, you will see how good of a cook I am soon.”
“This is why you’re staying here?” Li Qiye stared at the wannabe chef and said.
