Clara was instantly able to see through their Divergent aura. Vereina aside, Rokushi Mirai frowned. It should not be easy to see through her Divergent aura unless she fully unleashed her aura or cranked up her prowess to the limit.

However, Clara was able to see through it even without batting an eyelid.

She had a condescending look on her face, “You think we came here for Clara? Sure, we’ll take her back if we have to, but our business is with that old slut over there. I’ve come to take revenge personally, so don’t interfere.”

“Ahahaha!~”

Lilliana Rayton abruptly burst out laughing as though she heard the funniest thing in the world, although her voice was weak and her aura completely sealed at the moment. Even the evil aura that had seeped all around the temple long ago was nowhere to be found, erased by the Heaven’s Warriors, although there were many traces left, sticking like irremovable black spots.

“I’ll deal with the rat hidden behind the murals.”

“…” Vereina and the others’ gaze flickered as they heard Illumina’s voice.

It seemed like the five Heaven’s Warriors in front of them weren’t the only ones there. They nodded at her ever so lightly before Schleya took a step forward.

“Clara, we’re here to vanquish the Soul Devouring Demoness. I suggest you leave and not interfere with our plans.”

“I reject.” Clara uttered coldly, “The Soul Devouring Demoness has been sealed again. I have strengthened the seal with my Sealing Laws.”

“So what? I think a mere Empyrean avatar like you wouldn’t be able to seal this bitch again.” Vereina argued.

She was full of hate for Lilliana Rayton. Never had someone scared her so much, not to mention made her seem like a little girl in front of the one she loved. If she didn’t clear this embarrassment, then she felt like she would never be capable of matching up to him.

Clara’s gaze moved to the side. Her senses measured Lilliana Rayton’s seal. It was still intact and completely energized.

“You’re misunderstanding something.” She explained, “This seal is based on her own blood energy. Since she is practically unkillable, her blood is an endless source of energy that keeps fueling the seal. As long as she remains alive, so would the seal. It may have loosened a bit due to unknown circumstances, but external energy is all she could’ve hoped to control. Her internal energy is nothing but sealed to eternity. She cannot use her energy nor blow herself up. She is fated to be hanged upside down until the end of the universe.”

Faruja coldly giggled, continuing, “It should be impossible for you all to break the seal without reaching at least a peak Exalt, so it would be better if you all leave. Naturally, we’ll hunt the two Divergents, so leave them behind.”

“You can’t attack us.” Schleya’s eyes narrowed, “You’ll be breaking the ceasefire if you make a move on us.”

“That ceasefire was only agreed in the lower realms, even if it wasn’t said explicitly. We’re in the Shadow Dimension, so there’s no need for us to hold back.” Faruja argued.

She turned to look at Clara and saw her nod, which made them smile.

Clara was ultimately a Heaven’s Warrior. She might have her heart shaken by her brother, but the rest of the Divergents will not be spared.
