Chapter 4283 Fairy Runalise Leaves?
"What is happening here?"
Fairy Runalise sensed that the mini-realm was strangely silent for some time now. Occasionally, there would be some strong undulations from training or breaking through, but she couldn't feel much anymore. It was just a day. It wouldn't be anything, but for the past few days, she had been noticing the strangeness and the Divine Emperor of Death also said that he had something in store for her and that it would make her happy.
Now, even the Reaper Soul Legion that always monitored her activities was missing.
She flew straight to the exit, wanting to leave and check the situation on the outside. However, she was stopped by someone.
It was a woman.
Her blond hair fell freely to her waist. She possessed sharp but clear eyes that looked a bit starry, a cute little nose, as well as luscious pink lips. The crimson-white robe she wore from hers further accentuated her wonderful curves, making her look quite mature.
Looking at her luscious figure, one wouldn't think she handled physical labor to a high level.
"Where are you going?"
"…"
Fairy Runalise frowned. She could leave freely but she was now being stopped?
She found it immensely suspicious.
"Do I not have the right to leave? I do not remember the Divine Emperor of Death imprisoning me here."
"No, no. You can leave anytime you want. I'm just personally interested in talking to you."
Sophie shook her hand and smiled lightly, "I, for one- admire people who can save other people and do righteous deeds like Heaven's Warriors. It is a pity that we're fated to kill each other. Otherwise, I'd send you offerings each year for doing such good work in the three cities. Because of you, the crime rate is much lower."
Fairy Runalise's expression was cold, "Enough of the pleasantries. I know you people are hiding something."
Sophie's lips curled more.
Stella had an extreme amount of control within her mini-realm. She had imposed a spatial lock that didn't transmit or receive frequencies from outside that she didn't recognize, so Fairy Runalise received no news about what was happening outside. She had gone out once every week to make it look like she was still in the Quake Fist Sect and learn some information about the outside world.
Other than that, she had always remained here, keeping a vigilant eye on the Divine Emperor of Death and his people.
Now that a powerful Empyrean was in front of her, blocking her path, she was more sure that something grave was happening outside.
"Move."
Fairy Runalise coldly spoke, to which Sophie shrugged.
"Unfortunately, the husband said to not let you out today until it is over."
The former's expression flickered, "So something is happening. Move or don't blame me for attacking."
"Go ahead."
Sophie folded her arms, appearing like she was a mountain with her frail yet mature figure.
Fairy Runalise raised her hand. She would rather die than do nothing when something calamitous could happen outside. She was about to make a move when someone walked out of the entrance.
"Oh, Mingzhi, you're back~"
Sophie directly ignored Fairy Runalise's attack and turned to look at Mingzhi, who arrived along with Stella.
"Yeah, I came back to look after of Tianyu."
Mingzhi flew over to Sophie.
"Then is it over?" Sophie asked, her eyes gleaming.
She was posted here in case someone tried to break into their mini-realm, so she was also updated on many news. She knew Davis took out the Venerable Knights and made them sign an agreement with him.
"Nearly." Mingzhi thought for a moment, "It's at a stalemate, but it could be said that we won."
"Amazing! I knew we could win this!"
Sophie raised a fist and clenched, causing Mingzhi to giggle as she wrapped Sophie's wrist and brought it down as she turned her around.
"What's with her?"
"Oh, she wants to go out. You deal with her."
Mingzhi blinked at Sophie before she smirked at Fairy Runalise.
"Why are you acting up now? You're a bit too late. Everything's almost over."
"If it's over, then why are you stopping me?"
"Go ahead."
Mingzhi brought Sophie to the side and let Fairy Runalise leave.
Fairy Runalise frowned, but seeing that they didn't stop her anymore, she carefully moved past them and left the mini-realm.
"Is it okay?" Sophie blinked, "Darling didn't want her to be exposed this soon."
"It's okay. Stella, tell Davis that she's on her way to him."
Mingzhi directed Stella and heaved a soft sigh, "She wouldn't be able to jeopardize our plan no matter how she acts. I'm hoping that she gets exposed though, so Davis can end her. I don't want her anywhere near our home. It is such a big risk to our children, but he-"
She pursed her lips before sighing again, "Leave it. He has his own strange way of doing things that I find hard to comprehend sometimes."
"I think what he's trying to do is paying off, though. Fairy Runalise ultimately didn't attack Lucian, who posed an immense threat to the lower realms. That is a huge matter. Maybe we can finally convince the Heaven's Warriors of our good nature."
"…"
Mingzhi raised her brows as she turned to look at Sophie, "You're really hopeful unlike me."
"Hehe~" Sophie giggled, "Don't worry. I can be ruthless when I have to, but I don't go around killing humanity's protectors who fight against evil forces. That goes against what I originally stood for, so I wish Fairy Runalise could see us for who we are and not for what we pose a threat to. But you're the one who paves the path for us by planning so many outcomes, so if you want me to kill her, I will, without a doubt."
Sophie's smile faded at the end, replaced with a chilling coldness as dark energy oozed out of the flames that seeped out of her fingertips.
Mingzhi viewed her and saw that she was not so far apart from the layer limit and was perhaps even equal to her. She couldn't tell.
Nonetheless, she smirked, "It is fine. I want to kill her because she poses a threat, but if that is neutralized, I don't care. Besides, it's great to have someone share a different opinion than mine so I can see what I'm not seeing. However, I still think the Heaven's Warriors are a lost case, except for a few. They have been like this for billions of years, and unless Davis becomes too powerful for them to deal with, I don't see them stopping at all, so I will swing my blade and behead them without a shred of guilt in my heart."
Sophie nodded with a smile, "Count me in."
"Alright, guard the entrance well. I'll go see what Tianyu is up to while I'm away, that little scoundrel~"
"Help me see if my Aurelia is doing fine too~"
"Will do."
Mingzhi hugged Sophie and then left.
Sophie giggled at Mingzhi, worrying about Tianyu. She couldn't help but feel that Mingzhi was truly an overprotective mother, but she could understand why since his future was in question, considering he needed someone of the opposite nature in order to come up in cultivation.
It could be a curse or a blessing, depending on if he is able to find the partner and who the partner is.
Suddenly, her smile turned wry as she also wondered what kind of physique Aurelia possessed. It was not only dormant, but there was no sign of what it was as it practically a husk, making her worry, but since it didn't disturb Aurelia's cultivation even after she became an Immortal, she was able to become relaxed.
Only time could tell what Aurelia's physique was.
"What about you?" Sophie turned to look at Stella.
"Me?" Stella's lips parted as she pointed at herself in an exaggerated fashion, "I just kill anyone who will get in big brother's way."
"…"
Sophie gave a thumbs up.
In the Great Violent Wildlands, Davis got the news from Stella that Fairy Runalise was coming.
He frowned, knowing her existence would be exposed if she came here. After all, there were many eyes on him currently. He didn't want her to be exposed since he was still seeing the fruits of his gamble.
Therefore, he sent out his avatar in a concealed manner and made it meet with Fairy Runalise, who was monitored by Stella.
