Chapter 3476: Silent

The robot that just lost his arm seemed unfazed. He cut a slightly bigger section of the little of what remained of his own arm, causing it to fall down. Roan’s Dark Element was still there, and it quickly corroded it. Following that, the earth below the robots seemed to stir; some kind of material floated from the ground to the now empty place where the robot’s arm was before. Finally, Rean and Roan saw how a new arm quickly grew up... or, to be more specific, how it rebuilt itself.

The robot glared at Roan and then at Qwerty, who was being held by Rean. Then, he commanded. "What are all of you looking at? Attack! Take our HAF100 back!"

Sure enough, all the robots attacked again, but they ignored the sect’s experts, who were pressed to the ground. They all focused on the twins since they seemed to be the only ones who could move.

Well, they weren’t the only ones. Back in the Sect, Kentucky and Celis were also doing what they could, as they seemed to be able to move, too. Through Sister Orb, they talked to Rean and Roan on the other side.

’What do we do?’ Kentucky asked, looking at the protection barrier of the sect that was being constantly attacked. It wouldn’t last long.

Roan’s scythe danced, and he sliced everything that came close to Qwerty with Rean’s help. Yet, it was a hard task as Rean was also holding Qwerty. ’We might have to give this up and leave.’

Celis agreed with Roan. ’Indeed. If we take too long, then we will truly be surrounded. From what I understand, there are even more of these things coming from that city, isn’t there?’

Rean confirmed, looking at the city in the distance. ’Yes, there are thousands and thousands more coming straight to us.’

The twins were strong, but not strong to the point they could hold an army. Besides, what if there were robots as strong as Space-Time Realm experts? Then the twins’ group would truly be fucked.

Roan activated his Domain, darkness enveloping the entire area.

Then, Rean and Roan moved within Roan’s domain, dodging the robots that kept entering it and cutting down the ones they could. Roan’s Domain corroded the robots that came in, but the same things happened to them as the robot Roan cut before. They were able to replace any damaged part of their body constantly.

The twins tried to rush outside, but to their surprise, or maybe not so much, the barrier that let them enter without any issues now completely blocked their path to the outside. Of course, there was a very easy way for the twins to leave this place. They just had to enter the Dimensional Realm and leave at Kentucky’s side. Even Celis could be used now, an advantage of the new Celestial Soul System.

There was a big problem, though. Qwerty was immune to Dimensional Realm pulls. If the twins left, they wouldn’t be able to bring Qwerty with them.

’Do we truly have to leave Qwerty?’ Rean narrowed his eyes while he fought. He wasn’t using his Domain as it was meaningless in this environment. After all, none of the robots used domains, which Rean’s Domain counteracted. No enemy Domain, no use.

Finally, the rest of the reinforcements arrived there from the city, and the twins were forced to take the decision to leave Qwerty... or so one would think.

*Zush, zush!*

Yet, at that very moment, Celis and Kentucky appeared by their sides! Yes, instead of the twins using the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm to leave this place, they used it to bring Kentucky and Celis in instead.

’Are you sure about this?’ Celis asked through their connection and Sister Orb’s help.

Roan nodded. ’We can’t afford to flee without Qwerty to guide us. We would be trapped in the illusory phenomenon.’

’We will just get ourselves killed in this place, though. Isn’t it better to get lost in the illusion or whatever it is?’ Kentucky wasn’t as confident.

’Just try it!’ Roan looked at Celis.

Celis sighed and quickly returned to his real form. Then, Celis’s Domain was activated!

’Energy Draining Domain!’

Celis’s domain could absorb all types of energy from within all enemies in its range. It’s just that since the energy of other experts wasn’t compatible, Celis couldn’t use it for cultivation, only for his abilities. Roan’s Domain enveloped an area of almost two kilometers, so it was quite a lot of space for them to move around. Unfortunately, there was a limit to this strategy. As good as Celis was, he wasn’t made of steel. Roan knew that already. He was looking for an opening. As long as he had that, he could try to open a hole in the barrier with his Dark Element, and they could pull Qwerty out and flee from there. It’s just that there were so many robots and other things attacking them that Roan didn’t have the time to try such a thing. They had to keep constantly moving inside his Domain, and that was also taking a toll on his body. His cultivation was still too low compared to the past to keep using his Domain in such a brazen manner.

Yet, before he found that opening... the battle stopped! The robots didn’t come inside his and Celis’s Domains anymore, and everything went silent.
