Chapter 3465: Rejection
Such a huge commotion from the biggest sect of the Divine Snow World obviously caught the attention of many other powers, including the Inquisition Hall.
However, right outside of the Divine Snow Mountain, there was a huge barrier that had been raised, covering the entire mountain. Nothing could get past that barrier. Divine Sense, Sight, Soul Power Scan, the Werdlem Network Signal, you name it. It was impossible to tell what was happening there.
To make things worse, one can’t forget that the Divine Snow Mountain Sect’s range extended through the entire Forest around it. Naturally, even though one could still enter the forest, that also meant invading the Sect’s territory. Because of that, every interested in this change of events saw themselves forced to wait outside.
The various disciples and elders, unaware of what was happening, returned to the sect during the days that followed. Even the ones sent to the most remote regions had been called back, and in case they didn’t have the Divine Stones to teleport back straight away, the sect paid for it. What mattered was that everyone had to be back as soon as possible.
Going back a few days, just when the message was sent out...
Rean and Roan arrived at the same building where they saw the robot those years ago. Lota was already there, waiting by the Robot’s side. "So you are here."
Rean approached the robot. "How has Qwerty been doing?"
"How else?" Lotan shrugged. "You ordered it to turn off, and it has been off ever since. It hasn’t moved a single bit."
Rean nodded and called it out. "Qwerty, wake up."
The various light lines began to pulsate, and all the robot’s systems were activated. In a matter of a few seconds, that long-haired and child-sized robot got up, stopping in front of Rean and Roan. "Hello, Masters."
Lotan sighed in relief, seeing that the robot was still working fine. Then, he waved his hand, and another robot very similar to the one the twins took control of appeared as well. It’s just that this one didn’t have any hair and was quite bigger. "This is my robot, R2."
Anyone could guess where the name came from. No doubt that was the second robot activated, so they simply selected R2. "Could it be the first and third robots you guys got are called R1 and R3?"
Lotan looked away. "What? It is simple and easy to remember. Besides, none of the other three robots complained about the name we gave them."
Roan would definitely have preferred their robot was called R4, as it would have been easier, too.
Lotan put his R2 in front of Qwerty, who didn’t seem to have any reactions. "Qwerty, does my robot remind you of anything?"
Qwerty looked at Rean and Roan, who nodded back at him. Only then did it answer. "This unit doesn’t have any information regarding R2."
Lotan was slightly disappointed, but he already expected that. Qwerty did mention its database and memories were empty, after all.
"Anyway," Lotan continued. "Rick, Morty, you take Qwerty and try to familiarize yourself with it for the next few days. We are going to enter the Evernight World soon. All the disciples are coming back to the sect as well. Just don’t try to leave the sect. We raised a protection formation that impedes anyone from going out. You have to stay here until we gather everyone."
The twins accepted the order and brought Qwerty out with them back to Rean’s residence. There, Rean tried to talk more with it. "So, Qwerty, errr... what do you want to do?"
"I want to help my masters," it answered straight away.
Roan nodded, satisfied. "Perhaps you might be of some use, after all. If this idiot here asks you any nonsense, just kick him."
Rean glared at Roan. "What kind of nonsense could anyone even ask it?"
Before Rean could answer, Kentucky also appeared outside. "Oh! So this is the robot. Qwerty, can you prepare good food?"
Qwerty quickly shook his head. "This unit doesn’t have any recipes to use. Please provide information about the preparation of desired food."
Roan glanced at Rean, who felt like crying. "Forget I said anything."
Roan then ignored Rean and pushed Kentucky aside. He at least wanted to know what the robot was capable of. "Alright, Qwerty, fight me with all your strength, but make sure you don’t damage yourself. Only stop when I say so."
Qwerty nodded, and its entire body shined with light for a moment. Right after, it shot forward, its fist closed and ready to punch Roan.
Roan was taken aback by its speed, which was definitely as fast as his own. ’Could it be its strength is based on the strength of its master?’ Roan thought for a moment. Nonetheless, he extended his hand, concentrated some of his Sky Energy there, and blocked the robot’s punch with his palm.
*BOOM!*
A huge shockwave spread around, even knowing down several walls of Rean’s residence. "Shit, this is not a place for you guys to fight. Bring it inside the Dimensional Realm."
Qwerty immediately stopped since Rean was also one of his masters. "What should this unit do?"
Roan looked at the palm of his hand, which was trembling and feeling a little sore. His Celestial Bloodline made his body even stronger than when he used the Starlight Body Cultivation Technique. And yet, with just his brute force, Qwerty caused that much damage.
Roan didn’t waste time. "I’ll bring you inside my Dimensional Realm. Do not fight the Spatial Pull."
Finally, Roan waved his hand, and spatial power enveloped Qwerty... just for it to immediately dissipate. "Hum? Did you stop the pulling force?"
Qwerty didn’t do anything, though. "This unit hasn’t made any actions."
Roan tried again, but the spatial power of the system simply couldn’t bring Qwerty inside. "Does he have a spatial protection?"
Rean checked him up close, shaking his head. "It’s not exactly a spatial protection. It is more of a rejection of Dimensional Realms. Quite interesting... That explains why the robot was kept outside all this time instead of someone’s Pocket Dimensional Realm."
"Sigh..." Roan knew that using the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm was out of the question now. "I’ll bring him to the training field of the sect then."
