“Wait, so you could leave a portal there so we can teleport instantly?!” Rita asked. “Now that’s convenient! But the thing is getting there without going there.”

“Yeah… the whole trip there might take us another day…” Elayne nodded. “If we could fly… Wait, spirits when they fly aren’t bothered by the bees, right?”

“N-No…” Katherine’s eyes widened. “Wait… I see! Maybe if you could create something like a secondary spiritual body- Oh! Maybe an Out of Body Experience Spell could work. Do you have something like that?”

“I don’t know… I do have many auras and can create spiritual beings but…” Elayne muttered. “I don’t think so? Perhaps if I could combine effects and so on… I only have one Spell Slot left in my Magic Circle; I would rather save it for something more important.”

“Right…” Katherine nodded. “But you can create combination spells, right? Let me help you make something then!”

“Hmm, alright,” Elayne nodded. “Let’s try.”

With Katherine’s help, Elayne started creating a new combination spell. First, she combined spells that had to do with spirits and aura.

However, as she began trying to combine their effects, she realized that there was a limit of the runes within a magic circle, even the largest magic circle she could conjure could only sustain around five hundred runes.

Each spell was between fifty runes as the weakest, to almost a hundred with the strongest spells, so she had to make sure the spell wouldn’t overload, or she might end up receiving backlash from the magic circle destabilizing and exploding in her face.

“Hmm, this is more complicated than I imagined, an outright combination spell that could give you a secondary spiritual body doesn’t seem possible…” Katherine sighed. “Even if I helped… Unless we make something similar using what we got.”

“Oh, really?” Elayne wondered. “Hm, it’s a pity… but what do you mean with something similar? I had been checking myself; there’s some interesting spells but nothing as directly as what we need.”

“I know…” Katherine analyzed the spells with her sharp eyes.

It was easy to analyze them now that Elayne had her phone to show how many spells she had right now, it even registered her combination spells so far too.
