Ignis’ Sharp Blade rapidly began to grow sharper and slightly longer, but not too long. We used the Woodenite to reinforce and reforge her blade, and then using the crystal threads, we imbued the handle and even the blade with even more spirit power and mana.

Lastly, we ended by crushing the Demonic Energy Crystal into red, fiery dust, and infused it over the entire blade, giving it a demonic red color instead of the steel silver color it possessed… Then, it went through a sealing process with the original Ignis’ flames and cooled down with the Liquified Mana of my Alchemy Cauldron.

And then…

FLAAASH!

“It’s done!”

Ignis floated in midair, her aura surging through her small body, as she suddenly became an enormous blazing blade made of demonic, draconic, and spiritual flames.

FLUOSH!

As she grew in size, Mark gently held her, the flames spread through his arm, burning him, but he resisted them, slowly getting accustomed to her deadly blaze.

“Ignias, welcome back.”

“So you’ve changed my name, huh? I suppose it is more fitting for me!”

As Ignias talked, her entire aura grew larger, becoming a massive blazing dragon, with demonic features, and three heads.

“Unlike that sleepy Irene, I don’t feel as tired, if anything, I feel greatly invigorated! This power…! Yes, this power fits me quite well, like a ring!”

Ignias laughed, as her blazing power spread everywhere, and we got a bit worried.

“W-Wait Ignias, calm down a little!”

“I cannot calm down now, Elayne! I must consume! The flames! They tell me to consume everything and- Ugh!”

However, the flames suddenly were grabbed by Ignis, as she was suddenly compressed into her knife form once more.

“I like fiery girls, but you should stay calm, Ignias. I like your new name, more fitting for your beauty.”

Ignis laughed, as he contained her while Ignias complained.

“Y-You dare flirt with me?! Wait a second, stop containing my flames!”

“How about you sleep it out first? The power has made you go a bit crazy, come on.”

“Uugh… Y-You dare…”

Ignias slowly fell asleep, as we sighed in relief.

“Thank you Ignis, I got a little worried there… Was that the demonic flames acting up?” I wondered.

“Yes, that demonic crystal you used belongs to a Fire Demon, they’re Demons made of Flames, therefore Ignias inherited part of his Flames, becoming partially a Demon herself,” Ignis said.

“Oh wow, I didn’t… Well, I can’t lie, I did guess that would happen,” Mark said. “But honestly, we have to fight fire against fire, right?”

“I suppose you’re not wrong, I also employed the power of demons against other demons with these skills I had, and some equipment too…” I nodded. “Will she go crazy again?”

“Not for now, unless you go to battle once more, she might lose control in the bloodshed,” Ignis explained. “It’ll be up to Mark to calm her down. She is your weapon and your partner, so you better learn how to tame her flames.”

“I will, despite this difficulty, I can still see it was a great idea, her power increased tremendously…” Mark said.

I showed the tablet to Mark, as he saw the information there.

As I left the excited Mark with Ignias, I quickly went back to the forge for one last work of the day, Morpheus.

“Sorry for the wait Morpheus, I’m ready, and right before dinner. So let’s get it done quickly!”
