Chapter 176: Upgrade Dungeon

Chapter 176: Upgrade Dungeon

As Leon focused more closely, he noticed some shadows standing near the bathtub.

Three people—two men appearing to be in their early thirties and a woman likely in her mid-twenties—stood right next to it.

All three were casually touching the edges of his custom-made tub, inspecting it as if it were up for grabs, as if they had any right to it.

‘They just barge into my dungeon and started touching my bathtub like it’s their property. Fucking Bastards.’ Leon thought with a very angry expression.

Without wasting another second, Leon activated his skill.

‘A level three thief, level five charmer and a another level four thief. I am surprised how they even found this Dungeon.’ Leon thought with a neutral expression.

Leon didn’t flinch. His eyes grew colder.

From his inventory, he pulled out the Nyxter, a deceptively elegant dark blade with extreme sharpness. He held it in his hand, and with practiced precision, channeled mana into it.

“Thread. Thread. Thread. Thread. Thread.”

Five invisible mana threads snapped into place, each linking his will to one of Nyxter’s five hidden blades inside the sheath.

Fruela, standing just behind him, tensed as she pulled out her glowing purple blades.

“Master… Shall I take care of them ?” She asked, her voice low but ready to kill On order.

“Calm down, darling. I’ll handle this.” Leon spoke with a smile.

His voice was composed—dangerously calm. A plan already forming in his mind.

He began walking toward the intruders with slow, deliberate steps.

Meanwhile, near the bathtub…

“This thing looks expensive,” Rove muttered. “Shouldn’t we check if it’s a trap?”

“It’s not a trap,” Iril replied, smiling confidently. “No mana. I can sense these things.”

“What are you, a scanner now ? Like that dungeon guy ? Hahaha!” Victor laughed mockingly.

“Still… it does look expensive,” Iril added, licking her lips as her greedy gaze returned to the bathtub.

“It does… doesn’t

A new voice. Deep, calm, unmistakably low but loud enough to scare them.

All three of them flinched and spun around immediately.

“Woah-!?”

“What the fuck!?”

“Who-“

Leon was standing behind them now, still walking forward—slow, steady, unreadable.

“Who the hell are you, scaring us like that you fucking stupid ?” Victor barked, stepping forward and drawing his sword, pointing it directly at Leon.

Behind Leon, Fruela’s eyes narrowed with rage.

‘How dare he withdraw his sword on my master. I want to kill him so bad… But, master’s orders are absolute. I shall not defy them, but if things started to go south… I will step in immediately.’ Fruela thought with a serious expression.

Leon, however, looked completely unfazed.

“I’m just an adventurer. A passing adventure r,” he said smoothly. “I sensed the explosion. Found a corpse on the stairs. Got curious and entered inside the dungeon.”

His eyes didn’t blink, didn’t twitch. Just stared at them with a smirk on his face.

“And her?” Rove asked, motioning to Fruela.

Leon smiled faintly as he looked at Fruela.

“That’s my girlfriend. Stunning, isn’t she?”

“Damn right she is,” Victor replied with a perverted grin, his sword lowering slightly.

“No, she’s not,” Iril interrupted sharply, jealousy flaring in her eyes and tone. “I’m the most beautiful in this dungeon and in this whole world. You’ll kill that bitch—just like the man on the stairs.”

Victor blinked, confused. “What ? But they’re—”

His words cut off. His eyes glowed bright pink. Then, silence covered the whole room for a second.

“Go. Kill her. I command you.” Iril commanded.

“Yes.” Victor raised his sword again and turned—not toward Leon, but toward Fruela—completely entranced by Iril’s eyes.

Then Iril turned her gaze to Leon and with a smile she spoke…

“You. Come to me.”

*Wink*

Both her eyes glowed as she activated her charm skill.

[Warning: You are under the skill ‘Charm.’]

[Note: You feel no attraction to the charmer. Effects will be neglected completely.]

Leon read the notifications with a faint smirk.

But he played along anyway, stepping forward as if he were caught in her spell.

“What do you think of him?” Iril whispered to Rove. “Better than Victor, isn’t he? Looks useful to me.”

“Stronger. Better sword too. Tell him to hand it over, I want it.” Rove said, eyeing Nyxter greedily.

“Hand it over to my boyfriend, stupid fuck.” Iril ordered with a neutral expression as her eyes glowed brightly pink.

“Yes,” Leon said simply, offering the sword hilt-first.

Rove took it with a triumphant grin.

“This handle… is really premium. What kind of material did you—”

He didn’t finish.

As he pulled the weapon fully out, all five blades detached, falling around his feet with a metallic clatter.

*Tang. Tang. Tang. Tang. Tang*

“What the fuck—?” Rove stared in shock, looking up—

Only to see Leon staring directly at him with a wide smile on his face.

Iril, too, noticed something and her eyes immediately widened in shock.

“His eyes…” she whispered to herself with realisation.”They didn’t glow pink. He… wasn’t under the spell!”

“Rove he is not under the spell, Victor -“

She turned quickly— but it was already too late.

Victor’s body lay motionless on the ground. His head… rested backwards on his own back, cleanly severed.

Fruela cleaned the blood on her blades with Victor’s shirt as she looked at Rove.

“Fucking run! They’re not—” Rove tried to make a run for it after shouting a warning to Iril but,

A blade shot upward from the ground—

*STAB*

It pierced straight through Rove’s throat.

*Thud*

His body collapsed on the ground, spraying blood that splattered across Iril’s horrified face.

Her eyes widened in fear and shock. “N-No… R-Rove.”

She stumbled back, trembling as she stared at Rove’s corpse.

Leon took a step closer and looked at her scared expression with a neutral expression.

“Now…” he said, his voice cold, deliberate. “Let’s have a little talk, Iril.”

“M-My name… H-How do you—”

“Don’t worry about that.” His tone darkened. “First question… Why is there a corpse on my Dungeon’s stairs ?”

*Thud*

Iril dropped to her knees, shaking.

“P-Please… Please spare me! I-I’ll do anything! I’m sorry! I didn’t know! P-Please don’t kill me!” she begged, clutching at his legs in desperation.

Leon looked down at her with cold, narrowed eyes.

“You’ll talk, if you want to live. Ten seconds. Tell me why that man is dead, or you die next.” Leon spoke with a serious expression as he looked at Iril.

His voice was ice cold and very serious.

And Iril realized immediately that Leon wasn’t someone to be played with.

“W-We hired him from the adventurer’s guild. H-He is a dungeon finder. He finds dungeon in exchange for some money.

W-When he found the dungeon… He took us here and when he asked for his money, Victor killed him. Please s-spare me.” Iril spoke as she looked at Leon.

“Now, if I am right… Victor didn’t do it on his own will, did he ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression as he looked at Iril.

“N-No… I-I commanded him to do it. I-I j-just wanted to earn some money and I-I didn’t knew this dungeon was yours… P-Please-“

“How much money was that guy asking for ?” Leon asked with a neutral expression.

“O-One silver.” She replied with a scared expression.

“You killed a man for one silver coin… Aren’t you good at evaluating people’s life for money ? Well then… Tell me the price for your life, pay it and leave this dungeon alive.” Leon asked with a smile.

“W-What… !?” Iril asked with a shocked expression as she looked at Leon.

“Yes, You have ten seconds. Tell me what your life is worth or die immediately. Your time starts now.” Leon spoke with a smile.

“T-Three silvers.” She replied with a scared expression as she looked at Leon.

“Too low… If you are worth three silvers. I would rather kill you now.” Leon spoke with a smile as he raised all five blades of the Nyxter in the air and pointed them at Iril’s face.

“N-No please wait… T-Ten silvers.” Iril spoke as she got evenore scared and wetted her panties.

“Hah… You are close. Maybe twenty silvers.” Leon spoke with a neutral expression.

“D-Done… I-I will give you-” Before Iril could’ve completed her sentence, all five blades went through her neck decapitating her immediately.

“Stupid bitch. I am setting up traps in this dungeon. I am not going to kill every asshole that comes inside to steal my things.

Elis, Come here. It’s time to upgrade this dungeon’s security.” Leon spoke with a serious expression.
