"Don't be so wilful, Xiaobai! You are currently the only Ink-Eyed Pixiu in existence, so we can't afford to have you taking such risks," Bai Ze scolded in a stern manner.

Xiaobai opened his mouth to object, but Bai Ze raised a hand to stop him.

"I know what you and Fellow Daoist Han are planning. I know far more about the Nine Origins Temple than you do, and it's an entity that possesses power beyond your imagination. You need to stay here on Eight Plains Mountain and focus on your cultivation. As for you, Fellow Daoist Han, I advise you not to take the risk, either. It could quite easily be the last decision that you ever make," Bai Ze said in a serious manner.

"Pardon me for being frank, Fellow Daoist Han, but among all of the powers allied to the Heavenly Court, the Nine Origins Temple easily ranks in the top five, so it's still far too powerful for you to oppose for now," Lekima chimed in.

Han Li's brows furrowed slightly upon hearing this.

Indeed, it would've been nothing short of a suicide mission for him and Xiaobai to try and rescue Jin Tong from the Nine Origins Temple on their own, and there was no way that he would've done something so irrational. If he were to die, then Jin Tong's fate would also be sealed.

However, with the Reincarnation Palace thrown into the mix, things were going to be completely different. However, this was a secret that was not his to divulge, so he chose to remain silent.

"I can cultivate wherever. Master has a spatial treasure that I can cultivate in, and I'm not afraid of any danger that may come my way," Xiaobai objected in a determined manner.

Bai Ze was very displeased to hear this, and he gave Han Li a subtle look.

"Senior Bai Ze is right, Xiaobai. It's far too risky for you to come with me, so I also think you should stay here," Han Li said.

Even though Xiaobai had reached the Great Encompassment Stage, it still made virtually no difference in the face of a superpower like the Nine Origins Temple. On top of that, there was a good chance that the Heavenly Court was already aware of what happened on Eight Plains Mountain. Given that Xiaobai had inherited the bloodline of the Ink-Eyed Pixiu, he was almost certainly going to have a huge target on his back.

Even more importantly, taking Xiaobai away would pit him against the primordial land, so it was better to leave him here.

"Back when Boss and I were surrounded by those Nine Origins Temple cultivators, she had a chance to escape, but she gave that opportunity to me. Otherwise, I would already be dead, so how can I cower in the primordial land with her in such grave danger? I understand your kind intentions, Your Majesty, but this is something that I must do.

“Otherwise, with this guilt weighing on my heart, there's no way I can ever make any progress in my cultivation base," Xiao Bai said with unmatched determination in his eyes, and Han Li fell silent upon hearing this.

Bai Ze was clearly still very reluctant to let Xiaobai go, but before he had a chance to say anything, Yue Mian chimed in with his opinion.

"Bai Ze, us primordial beings have always been true to ourselves. We must follow our own hearts. Xiaobai clearly already has his mind made up, so just let him go," Yue Mian said.

"What nonsense are you spouting now? Don't tell me you don't know how powerful the Nine Origins Temple is!" Bai Ze snapped.

"His heart isn't here, so even if you keep him here by force, it won't do him any good. This is something that must be done, and I can tell that Fellow Daoist Han is not a reckless individual, so I'm assuming he must already have a plan for rescuing his friend," Yue Mian said.

"I do indeed have a plan in mind, but it concerns some secrets that I cannot divulge. Having said that, you can rest assured that I won't do anything reckless," Han Li said.

"You see? Your concerns are unnecessary. If you're still worried, then you can just give Xiaobai a few protective treasures," Yue Mian said.

Bai Ze was silent for a moment, then finally acquiesced, "Fine, go if you must, but take these with you."

He flipped a hand over as he spoke, summoning an azure jade talisman, a golden talisman, and a white cloth pouch.

The jade talisman was around three inches wide and five inches in length with a peculiar, array-like design etched upon it.

Bursts of gentle, azure light were emanating from the array, circling around the talisman before fusing back into it in a never-ending cycle.

The golden talisman was roughly palm-sized, and it was riddled with countless spirit patterns that were giving off incredibly formidable law power fluctuations.

As for the cloth pouch, it was completely unremarkable in appearance, nor was it giving off any law power fluctuations.

"The azure talisman is called the Heaven Moving Talisman, and it's capable of concealing your aura and physical body to such an extent that even a late-Great Encompassment cultivator may not be able to see through it. Sealed within the golden talisman is an attack imbued with a third of my power.

“As for the cloth pouch, that was your father's bonded immortal treasure, and it's been with me this entire time. Now that you've inherited his bloodline, you can have it," Bai Ze explained.

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Xiao Bai said in a grateful manner as he hurriedly accepted the three treasures.

He stowed the two talismans away after just a brief inspection, focusing most of his attention on the white cloth pouch.

Han Li was also quite pleased to see this.

With these three treasures at their disposal, they had three more safety nets that they could fall back on.

Right at this moment, Bai Ze suddenly swept a sleeve through the air, and twelve bursts of white light shot out of his hand like lightning before vanishing into Xiaobai's body with unerring accuracy. Countless white runes surged out of the white light, forming twelve circular arrays around Xiaobai that flashed momentarily before slowly fading away.

Both Han Li and Xiaobai were quite alarmed to see this, but Bai Ze had acted far too quickly for them to react.

"Don't worry, I've only planted a teleportation array in Xiaobai's body. I can allow you to leave with Fellow Daoist Han, but you only have two hundred years, after which you must return to the primordial land no matter what. Otherwise, the teleportation array will forcibly teleport you back here," Bai Ze warned.

Xiaobai's expression changed slightly upon hearing this, and he turned to Han Li with a concerned expression.

Han Li's brows also furrowed slightly upon hearing this. Up to this point, he had received no information from the Reincarnation Palace on when the mission was to be carried out.

He wasn't placing his hopes on the Reincarnation Palace, but their intervention would certainly be a huge help to him.

I hope we can make it in time, Han Li thought to himself as he gave Xiaobai a reassuring nod.

"Alright, I'll definitely come back in two hundred years," Xiaobai vowed to Bai Ze, and the latter's expression eased slightly upon hearing this.

"Thank you for allowing Xiaobai to accompany me, Senior Bai Ze. Rest assured, no matter what happens, I will ensure Xiaobai's safety," Han Li promised.

"Alright, I'll leave Xiaobai in your capable hands then," Bai Ze said.

The four of them chatted for a while longer before Han Li bade farewell to the two True Spirit Kings, then summoned the Ink Dragon Flying Boat, which quickly vanished into the distance with him and Xiaobai onboard.

Following their departure, Bai Ze took a glance at Lekima, who took that as his cue to depart as well, leaving only the True Spirit Kings remaining on the plaza.

"Here," Yue Mian said as he swept a sleeve through the air to release a ball of crimson light, which contained twelve projections, and they were none other than the twelve true spirit bloodline projections in Han Li's body.

In addition to the twelve true spirit projections, the ball of crimson light also contained a passage of text that formed a cultivation art.

If Han Li had still been present, he would've been shocked to discover that the cultivation art was fundamentally almost identical to the Twelve Awakening Transformations, with only some minor differences here and there.

Bai Ze's eyes lit up as he reached out to catch the ball of crimson light.

"I was able to glean the bloodline circulation in Han Li's body through his Kun Peng bloodline, thereby allowing me to get a rough idea of the inner workings of this bloodline refinement cultivation art. It is indeed a very advanced cultivation art, I wonder why it appeared in a lower realm," Yue Mian mused.

"This is a very remarkable cultivation art for sure. There are also some bloodline fusion cultivation arts in our primordial tribes, but only for four or five types of true spirit bloodlines at most. Any more than that, and the cultivator's body will self-detonate from an excessive number of conflicting true spirit bloodlines.

“The calculation required to create a cultivation art that can balance twelve types of true spirit bloodlines is nothing short of incredible. With this cultivation art, all of the primordial tribes will be able to become a lot more powerful," Bai Ze said with a pleased nod.

"If you wanted the cultivation art, you could've just searched his soul or asked him to hand it over. Why go through all this trouble to obtain it through such a roundabout fashion?" Yue Mian asked in a disgruntled manner.

"It may sound ridiculous for me to say this, but he's not someone that we can afford to mess with," Bai Ze replied with a shake of his head.

"Oh? Who exactly is he?" Yue Mian asked in an intrigued manner.

Bai Ze took a glance at Yue Mian, then pulled out a black badge with a sinister beastly head engraved upon it.

"It's him?" Yue Mian exclaimed with a surprised expression.
