A Journey That Changed The World

Archer jumped into the murky water and another world appeared which his grown to love as the place was massive below and full of an underwater jungle that stretched out in all directions.

‘This place is amazing and I’m glad I’ll be able to conquer places like this,’ he mused before looking at Teuila with a knowing smile, ”Transform into your Primal form, and I’ll boost your power,” he said.

The blue-haired beauty gave a nod as she glided through the water, effortlessly shifting into her Tylosaurus form. Her sleek, muscular frame emerged, long, powerful, and immense, leaving him smile.

Seconds later, a crocodile-like monster lunged at him from the foliage below but Teuila’s massive jaw snapped so fast and bit it in half. Archer was surprised but laughed as she started eating.

‘When I devour my prey it boosts my strength,’ her voice sounded in his mind. ‘I hope you don’t mind husband.”

Archer waved her concern away before landing on her head. ”Don’t worry about it gorgeous, eat as much as you want.”

Following that, the two of them swam toward the monster that attacked, and when getting close the young woman stopped while speaking. ‘It’s over there in the chasm, I’m not going near that thing again.’

”I’ll take care of it,” he replied before gliding toward the darkness.

Archer landed at the edge and leaned over just as a massive tentacle lashed out at him but he caught it with ease. Without waiting, he zoomed up and shot out of the water until a massive squid flopped around in his grip.

Teuila joined him thanks to Mana Manipulation after returning to her humanoid form and looked at the creature with wide eyes. ”A Deep Sea Squid, these things are rare and highly sought out by many people. Their ink is worth a fortune but they also cultivate extremely rare plants.”

When the monster heard that it went still prompting Archer to laugh while speaking. ”You scared it Teu, but none of that now.”

He turned to the squid and spoke. ”Do you want a safe place where you’re not hunted?”

‘Yes,’ a young male voice echoed back. ‘Sorry for hitting her but she scared me, she’s so strong.’

Archer checked when hearing this before turning to Teuila. ”He’s amazed by your strength my love and apologized for hitting you.”

The young woman smiled as she looked at the creature. ”That’s okay, if I knew you were a Deep Sea Squid I wouldn’t have come close, your kind are hunted all the time.”

Moments later, their new friend gently raised a tentacle, brushing it against Teuila’s leg in a friendly nudge, leaving a faint trail of ink. Her face lit up with a bright smile as she scooped up the ink and rubbed it between her hands.

This baffled Archer forcing his head to tilt as he questioned. ”What are you doing woman?”

”This stuff is great for the skin,” she revealed with a giggle. ”Women all over the empire will pay a hefty price for this stuff.”

His eyes widened with greed causing Teuila to nod. ”Yes your company could see this, Ella could market it. She’s drop-dead gorgeous so people will flock to it.”

Archer nodded in agreement before suggesting a name. ”We could call it Wyldheart Skin Cream, it’ll earn us a hefty sum of gold coins once word spreads.”

With that, he turned to the squid, gently releasing it while proposing a deal. ”As I mentioned earlier, I’ll provide you with a safe place to live, but in return, I’ll need access to your ink and the plants you look after.”

When the monster heard his offer it quickly agreed with a happy nod because it wanted peace but being in the wild made that near impossible. as it didn’t sense any lies prompting him to open a Gate to the Domain Sea where there weren’t any aggressive beasts.

The squid spun on the portal its black eyes bulging which made the couple laugh as Archer ushered it through. ”Come with me, and check it out. Once you realize it’s safe you can bring more of your kind.”

Following that, the monster did as he said and entered the Domain only to be shocked as its excited voice sounded. ‘This place is paradise, the colony will love it here.’

Archer’s greed skyrocketed before he spoke. ”Go get the others, I’ll keep this open until you’re all safe.”

The squid gave a nod before darting off, emitting a sharp, loud clicking sound. Teuila swiftly clung to his arms as hundreds of squids emerged from every crevice and shadow, prompting a low chuckle from him.

An hour later, a swarm of Deep Sea Squid now resided in the Domain and built a home on the sea floor away from the other monsters. Once this was done, the couple returned to the real world and continued exploring.

Teuila collected plants and Archer helped wherever he could which made the young woman smile. The duo enjoyed spending time with each other as he cut down several deep-sea teas that Llyniel wanted for an experiment.

He grew curious when hearing the blue-haired beauty’s explanation causing him to ask. ”Is she building a deep sea garden or something?”

”Yes, my love,” she replied with a giggle. ”She and Halime have been pestering me and Kassandra nonstop for rides up to the platform Ella handed over to them.”

Archer shook his head with a chuckle before the two reached an underwater plain but he instantly sensed the hiding monsters that caught his attention. He looked at a nearby spot and used Mana Manipulation to pull a creature free from the sand.

When Teuila saw these eyes blue eyes widened when seeing a small car-sized crab trying to attack them with its pincers. She shook her head and spoke with a smile. ”These things are called Ironclaw Crabs, strong beasts and they breed like goblins.”

”Interesting,” he muttered before pulling it toward him and punched it.

The couple watched as the shell cracked but the crab was still alive which put a smile on their faces. He freed the beasts while speaking with a low growl. ”Take me to your leader or I will butcher you.”

When the monster heard his threat, it let out a furious roar and lunged to attack but he swatted its pincer aside before tearing it clean off its body. Unleashing a wild fury, he pummeled the giant crab until it dropped dead.

Archer threw the body into his Item Box and spoke to Teuila. ”Crab will be delicious, we should eat some. Once we’re back I’ll make us soon lunch.”

”That sounds good,” she replied with a big smile that made his heart race.

Teuila quickly noticed his cheeks going red which made her happy as she exclaimed in a proud tone. ”I still affect you, mother was right about you.”

His eyebrow rose but she continued. ”She said twenty years from now you would still be the same with me, even more in love which looks like it’s the truth.”

Archer locked eyes with the young woman before closing the distance for a kiss, sending a shiver of delight through her and setting her heart racing. Just then, a swarm of Ironclaw Crabs stormed in, cutting their moment short.

He unleashed Mana Blasts into their faces, tearing the souls from their bodies with ruthless precision. The crabs quaked before collapsing dead by the hundreds, leaving Archer to harvest a mountain of meat.

His stomach rumbled loudly with hunger, prompting Teuila to tease, ”Looks like your appetite hasn’t changed one bit after all these years.”

Following that, Archer continued fighting his way through the horde of monsters until appeared in a deep tunnel with even stronger Ironclaw Crabs guarding the entrance while their pincers snapped.

The sound echoed out but he ignored it before pulling one of them toward him as Teuila launched herself forward. He watched the young woman quickly move as she sliced the monster into parts.

Archer caught the second beast’s movement as it lunged toward her, but he flashed between them in an instant. The crab’s claw crashed against him, only to rebound harmlessly, stunning the creature.

Seizing the moment, he killed it with ease. The guardians fell instantly, clearing his path into the queen’s chamber but soon enough the monsters started backing off as a chittering noise echoed out.

Teuila grinned and remarked, ”I forgot how much fun it is to hunt monsters with you, I really enjoy it.”

”It’s fun, we can do it much more if you like,” he replied with a charming smile. ”Now let’s recruit this queen to the monster army.”

Following that, the duo approached the Ironclaw Queen who was shuffling around but Archer spoke calmly. ”Will your children stop attacking me now? I don’t want to kill anymore?”

‘Yes, I’ve ordered them to stop,’ an older woman’s voice sounded in his mind. ‘Sorry for the hostility, we’re not used to vistoers especially in this underwater world.’
