Celestial Bloodline

Chapter 801: Waking up in the wrong place II

Kyle cursed when his leg was seized, and his body, encased in a familiar layer of ice, was violently hurled away with a speed that felt like teleportation before he crashed into the shield surrounding the abyss they both occupied, causing it to shudder violently.

He groaned as his entire body convulsed, and a trail of crimson blood oozed from his mouth, running down his glowing skin.

"Fuck! This is my new body-"

His sentence about how his soul had just gained this new body, which he hadn't even had the opportunity to explore yet, so don't dare to injure it, was abruptly cut off when a devastating punch struck his stomach, followed by a flurry of blows.

Each impact forced a groan of pain from him, as the attacks were so lightning-fast that he couldn't block a single one.

Kyle yelled loudly, calling out to the crazy man who seemed to have finally lost it. The only saving grace was that, for some reason, Azazeal wasn't using his spiritual energy or many natural laws; he was relying solely on pure physical strength to overpower him.

He almost felt like the latter was venting his rage and frustration on him!

Kyle could have tapped into the natural laws, but he refrained from doing so, knowing that the moment he did, the others would follow suit. Then he would be truly done for.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!"

With each punishing blow to his body, the glowing skin encased in an icy pale blue light became marred with bruises and blood.

Kyle was one hundred percent certain he had already fractured a few bones.

Still, what irritated him the most was the ease with which this bastard inflicted such damage on his body with nothing but his fists alone, making him feel as though the new body his bloodline had created for his soul was utterly weak and ineffective!

Had his physique actually deteriorated instead of becoming stronger after fully merging with his bloodline?

With this sudden thought, Kyle hurriedly focused on the transparent image in his mind that displayed his strength.

One couldn't even begin to convey Kyle's shock when he saw his current physique and strength, yet he was still getting beaten black and blue by Azazeal! Perhaps sensing his sudden absent-mindedness, his body was once again violently flung away.

He spat out blood as he was once more slammed against the shield enveloping the dark space, causing it to shudder violently.

All the grotesque souls in the area fled in sheer terror, their twisted forms writhing as they desperately tried to hide in the dark.

Even they were too terrified to intervene in this one-sided battle, fearing they might be targeted and become collateral damage! They lacked the ability to think, yet they could clearly sense danger!

Kyle wiped the blood off his lips and vanished before Azazeal could grab him again. His booming voice reverberated.

"Bastard! Find someone else to pick on! Go back in time to finish off those you couldn't! Why are you attacking me out of the blue!"

His words were valid.

Why couldn't Azazeal just go back in time to tear those two individuals to pieces he wanted to destroy so desperately?

Kyle didn't have much knowledge of the natural law of time at this moment, since he hadn't grasped it at such a high level, but he knew they could travel back! It was clear that Azazeal was powerful, stronger than one could have ever imagined. So why the hell doesn't this bastard just go back in time and end all this shitty mess?!

His words clearly struck a nerve with Azazeal, as the latter let out a scream loud enough to freeze Kyle in place.

"You think I didn't try? I didn't try? I freaking did! I did try! So many times!! But no matter how strong I am, I can't go beyond a certain point in time, and no one is allowed to alter the past, or their bodies will disintegrate!"

His voice cracked as if he were unleashing a tempest of repressed emotions, revealing every ounce of pain and fury he had tried to contain within him. With bloodshot eyes, he lunged again to punch Kyle.

However, this time, before his fist could make contact, Kyle tore through the fabric of space and vanished into the crack.

"Hahaha..."

An unsettling laughter erupted from his dry lips as red veins slithered across his neck. A faint aura of an otherworldly power, one he had revealed to very few, seeped out, and his body began to glow with a purple hue, terrifying the essence out of all the souls around him as he stepped into the void without even tearing it to pursue Kyle.

His eyes scanned the surroundings before locking onto the escaping blue light in the distance, compelling him to follow.

Kyle's body was flung away once more, causing him to disappear into the darkness filled with glowing stars and distant planets like a discarded rag cloth. He couldn't even take a proper breath when the familiar pair of obsidian eyes with glowing slits flashed in his sight again, and another devastating blow struck him, this time to his face, shattering his nose in the

Process.

His head spun badly as he struggled to block the relentless attacks; he managed to deflect a few, but he failed to evade far more than he succeeded.

"Tha..t's it!!!"

His voice trembled with anger as he felt the blood streaming from his nose. He was done

Getting beaten up!

Kyle's eyes shone brightly. Instantly, the vibrant green in them faded, replaced by a brilliant white hue as he wielded the natural laws of time and space to freeze or slow down his

Relentless opponent.

But who could have anticipated that Azazeal would laugh? For the first time, the man unleashed his immense energy. While fighting, they had somehow arrived near the Sacred Divine Land, and the instant Azazeal channeled his power, a beam of purple light erupted from the tip of his finger, shattering more than half of the Sacred Divine Land into a chaotic storm of debris and rocks.

Kyle's jaw tightened at the sight. Could he even stop him when the power difference between them was still so vast? His natural laws didn't even work against him!

He knew he wanted to kill this man, but it was clear that fighting back was pointless. So, he

Tried to use all his agility as he raced across the debris and scattered rocks all around, doing his best to land a hit on the crazy bastard he now hated even more!
